EII is experienced in the coordination and negotiation of "turn-key" power projects including design, construction and operation of landfill methane collection systems, contract negotiations, and final plant coordination and construction.
The methane gas produced in landfills, as well as waste oil and a variety of other "Waste" fuels, become Environmental Hazards when left idle. However, these fuels can be utilized as valuable sources of energy for the production of electricity, heat, other fuels, or the desalination of water. Utilizing landfill gases with todays innovative and efficient renewable alternative energy technology can produce new, on-going sources of revenue for the landfill including the development of carbon credits, renewable energy concepts (REC), and electrical generation to offset operational costs.
