Edgeboro International has been awarded the contract to take over the operation of the Casablanca Landfill in Morocco, North Africa. The landfill which accepts over one million tons per year of municipal solid waste from the city of Casablanca and the surrounding towns is the countries largest Landfill. The 15 year concession includes properly operating and closing the existing landfill, construction of the new landfill cells and the operation of the new facility. Edgeboro International thru its locally formed affiliate ECOMED has been operating since 2002 in Morocco constructing and operating the first state of the art sanitary landfill in North Africa for the city of Fez.
