Project Description:
EII was awarded the contract to install a new methane collection system for the Kingsland Landfill in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. The new collection system was designed to accommodate the proposed 18 hole golf course to be built as part of a regional master plan to redevelop the Meadowlands.
The installation of the methane gas collection system includes more then 40,000 lf of collection headers, laterals and condensate lines needed to tie together 80 new methane collection wells. The entire system had to be constructed without disrupting the existing methane gas collection system and power plant.
