Liquid Boot is a cold sprayed applied membrane. The Liquid Boot is ideal for difficult applications in which numerous penetrations and custom detail is to be encountered. The Liquid Boot application excels in this type of environment by being able to quickly spray the Vapor barrier around the penetrations of any shape or size, producing a gas tight seal that traditional plastic liners would have difficulty sealing.
Sheet liner vapor barriers prevent harmful gases and Volatile Organic Carbon VOC's from migrating from the ground into the building. The installation of these barriers takes place in the construction phase, typically installed above a clean stone layer and directly under the concrete slab of the building. The sheet liner is installed to help ensure the safety of the people occupying the building and to reduce the liability of the owner.
